This year the children will be taught by Mrs Newman on Monday, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday morning. On Thurday afternoon and Friday the children are taught by Mrs Tovey and on Tuesday morning they will be taught science by Mrs Rushton, a specialist science teacher from Costessey High School.
Although lots of our chlidren are excellent readers it is still important that they read aloud to someone at home at least three times a week (regardless of duration).
P.E/Games - Monday and Thursday PM:
For health and safety reasons jewellery is not permitted in lessons. Please aid us by removing any jewellery before school and making sure that any long hair is tied back on P.E days. NOTE: Teaching staff cannot remove jewellery so please take this into account with tricky to remove items. As always, please make sure that all items of clothing are named.
Swimming takes place on Fridays during the Summer Term at the Dereham Leisure Center and replaces the Thursday P.E. lesson.
